Title of the networking Event is 'Networking for Knowledge Sharing on Outcome of Good Practice in Bangladesh'. Expected outcomes of the event are (i) dissemination of good practice for implementation of New Urban Agenda and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs) among least developed countries and sharing of knowledge on the common field of interest, (ii) agreement and MoU signing between UDD and other stakeholders in Bangladesh including government, NGO and educational institutes etc. (iii) contacting the organizations, NGOs and academic institutes of the participating countries in Ninth Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF9) for mutual cooperation and sharing of knowledge on the common field of interest. The participating team would comprise of both male and female of varying age ranging from below thirty to fifty plus to ensure age and gender balance. The stall would be adorned with audio-visual presentations, reports, colourful maps, figures, graphs, festoons, reading materials, handbills containing urban planning process and good practice in implementation of New Urban Agenda to make the event interesting and attractive to the participants of the session. It is expected that the event would open up an avenue to share ideas and commitments and also strengthen partnership and launching joint initiative to promote sustainable urban development in Asia and the Pacific and in Bangladesh in particular.
