Dr. Seung-eon Lee is a former Vice President of the Korea Institute of Construction Technology. He earned his Ph.D, B.S. and M.S. in Architectural Engineering from the Hanyang University. Since he joined KICT in 1984, he has been Head of Planning and Coordination department, director of Building and Urban Research Department. He worked as a visiting scholar at Strathclyde University in the United Kingdom. He has been a critical contributor to national policy and technologies for energy and low carbon green buildings more than 30 years. He took parts at the IEA(International Energy Agency), EBC (Energy in Buildings and Communities) and the ISO( International Organization for standardization) as representative of South Korea. He has published more than 170 number of outstanding papers.
