Dieter Zinnbauer

Transparency International


Dieter Zinnbauer works on emerging policy issues and innovation for Transparency International (TI), an NGO present in more than 100 countries to fight corruption and promote good governance. Since August 2017 he is on a one-year sabbatical to pursue personal research projects, among other as a fellow at Copenhagen Business School to work on frontiers of corporate lobbying.

Zinnbauer previously served as Chief Editor of TI’s Global Corruption Report, published by Cambridge University Press, from March 2007 until February 2010. Prior to joining TI, Dieter worked for more than 10 years in Asia, Africa, North America and Europe as a policy analyst and a research manager for a variety of organizations in the field of development, democratization and ICT policy, including with UNDP, UNDESA, and the European Commission.
